Theft of Bicycle
Between 7am on Thursday 2nd January and 10am on Saturday 4th January a black adults mountain bike with white writing on the frame and tape on the saddle, was stolen from outside 7 Campbell Street, Lochgilphead.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on telephone number 101.
Vandalism
At 11pm on Saturday 4th January a window to a close door in Argyll Street, Lochgilphead was smashed by unknown means, however a witness heard banging and shouting prior to the smash.

Drugs
At 2.15pm on Wednesday 8th January, police had cause to stop a 24 year old male in Argyll Street, Lochgilphead for the purposes of a search. Due to an item that was found, the male has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for possession of cannabis.
Road Safety
At 3pm on Saturday 11th January police had cause to stop a car being driven by a 69 year old male in Inveraray. Enquiries revealed that the male was a disqualified driver and was subsequently arrested.
About 6.50pm on Saturday 11th January a complaint was received by police about the driving standards of a Peugeot car on the A83 south of Tarbert. The car was stopped a short time later with the 45 year old female driver failing the roadside breath test. The female was subsequently charged with drink driving and dangerous driving in respect to the original complaint received.
At 00.20am on Monday 13th January, police had cause to stop a Mitsubishi pickup on the A83, Tarbert. The 39 year old male driver was spoken to and subsequently failed the roadside breath test. He was arrested and charged with drink driving.
